on April 6, 2007i didn't know there were any rules? what did i miss? as far as nits are concerned, i want my stuff nitted unmercifully - otherwise, i'll wander along in ignorant bliss. ok, to try to explain the focus: if the 'pellet' directly behind the bird is in focus, then a corresponding distance to the right should be, too. maybe it is and just doesn't appear to be. i like the way the lines play against each other and find it a very interesting composition - maybe so interesting that it takes some attention away from the bird.

on April 6, 2007No rules on having to nit - if this was a nit for the sake of nitting then discouragement would set in. If you like a shot then thats perfectly fine to say - Wow I like this.
I'm leaning here towards getting rid of the burgundy line, but as it is its perfectly fine as well.
I like Don's Title.

on April 6, 2007To Nit then..I would probably crop to get rid of the what ever it is on the right and just have loan birdie , what he is standing on and what ever it is behind him..Simple get rid of the reddish thing:-)
