on November 14, 2007I like it! I have a recent infatuation w/ owls. Can't ever see them but hear them in park all the time.

on November 11, 2007I like the angle. It is a little blue.

on November 7, 2007I think --- with the light you were having to deal with you controlled it quite well.
I wonder if warming up the blue shadows would work in giving him some more umph.

on November 5, 2007I'm with Tom. The shadows on the left are reducing some of the dramatic aspects of the picture for me.

on November 4, 2007Love that crop Tom. So I suppose you mean lack of light on the left?
Emily, I don't really know why she let me get so close. They all don't that's for sure. I really, really, approaced her slowly.

on November 4, 2007This angle is fabulous! Nice and sharp (says she dripping with envy :-)) I think the light adds to the dramatic look...though it's blue....but then it's supposed to be nighttime. I don't particularly like Tom's crop (sorry Tom) The yellow eyes here are a enough of a draw for me. In other words, I really like this one :-)

on November 4, 2007i love the angle, but i think a crop could add focus to that beautiful eye and eliminate some of the light problems:
