Compositionally I like this one. "Don't really see the detail of the snow" You need contrast to achieve this and a white out situation like this you just are not going to get it. There is enough contrast between the distant tree line and the snow to see that it IS snow, just enough to understand that it is the snow that is causing the foggy like effect. I think that the bottom strip of grass is so much different from the rest of the image that it pulls all my attention towards it. Maybe a higher angle would have fixed this?
