on February 25, 2007how fortunate you were to catch a rare Rocky and yet have the nerve to blame his pflight (one of my newest dubble words) it on poor Bullwinke, when that idiot Sylvester was to blame all along.
don't know if you did anything to enhance Rocky, but it's certainly not that bad against that pile of sugar. believe it or not, i wouldn't crop this.....

on February 25, 2007Made me smile... thanks.
you say your afraid to do +1 --- in snow it's almost necessary as the snow tricks the auto exposure.
that said any time your a bit worried something might be too much just check your histogram and preview if the histogram has data spilling off of the far right then thats too much. You can set the camera to blink the areas that are blown out too.

on February 25, 2007Thanks ginger, glad you liked it.
Thusie, I know it was totally aweful, I was so ticked off when I noticed where my settings were but it was to late. I just thought it was histerically funny so I had to put it up. The +1, I always worry I will over do it but I'll try.

on February 25, 2007Cute shot and cute story:-) Couple things I see in the EXIF. ISO 1600 with shutter at 1/4000 +.3 or 1/3 in SM speak. Sqs are tough, sqs and snow are tougher, sq is under exposed, been there done that still do:-) I think you would have been better served at no more than ISO 400 and EC at +1 or a bit more, you would still have had plenty of shutter to catch the action. The cat and deer are really nice.
