Is this a young'un ... looks kinda small and vulnerable, not raptorish :) I like the pose, but something seems a bit off composition wise ... not sure what.

Him posing differently is why I chose this shot.

i remember this shot (or one close) on Dailies and thought then that the poor thing looks like he's trying to avoid sliding down an icy slope (branch). i'm sure that's not the case, but it's an awkward looking stance and the eye has an uneasy look. on the other hand, it's better than any hawk shot that i have...
