Open Wide
Yesterday when my older grandson was here, he was looking for frogs and spotted this bird in the culvert of my front yard. He yelled for me "Grandma there is a dead bird". I went over to look and I said he's not dead. Looked around to see where the nest was but didn't see anything. There are two killer cats that live next door so I scooped him up and brought him inside. After several phone calls to friends that do wildlife rehab I touched base with one fairly close to me and he's safe now.

on February 25, 2008I am a big fan of this image a day trend we have going here. I keep stumbling across them. I wish there were a place we could all list ours. Nice shots and great gallery. Thanks for sharing.
