The Title Me Challenge...12/08/08 The Challenge: This one is easy for our challenge group. All we had to do was take or present an untitled photo. The challenge goes out to our viewers. Give us a title! It will be up to the artist to choose the winner and it will be posted by Thursday morning. Come up with a great title and you can see it Thursday! The Participants: Kre8ive, John (300m), Bill Pador, Karina Boese, Johnloguk, Creative Deviance, Lady Kate, MyKey, Trevlan, and myself. The Result: This little guys probably looks very familiar to you it's because I had it up before. I had a lot of comments stating I should make a poster out of this...so here it is, now You title it.

She is peaceful but they don't really care for her as much as I had was told they would. I have to get her strong and take her back home. Once your older and have problems it seems no body cares.

TheCuriousCamel > May 8, 2008 Open Wide Yesterday when my older grandson was here, he was looking for frogs and spotted this bird in the culvert of my front yard. He yelled for me "Grandma there is a dead bird". I went over to look and I said he's not dead. Looked around to see where the nest was but didn't see anything. There are two killer cats that live next door so I scooped him up and brought him inside. After several phone calls to friends that do wildlife rehab I touched base with one fairly close to me and he's safe now.

TheCuriousCamel > I don't get out much anymore as you all know but yesterday I got up early enough to go get a few shots and I had just got my 30d back. Fired off a couple shots on the 30D and error 99 came up again. I can't express how upset I was. Luckily I had the 40D with me to but with a different lens on it. I did start to return home because I was so bummed out. As I was driving I was moved by the light here. It's along side a big hill with lots of traffic but I had my mom's little jeep so I decided to pull off the road in this one patch of grass that was just wide enough. I got it which drives my husband crazy because he always worries I will get hit by a car. I try not to do that but the quality of light was so overwhelming I had to chance it. I even like the corn field in the foreground.
TheCuriousCamel > No words necessary... Of course this is my mom and Gabe. Gabe does not warm to anyone very fast. It's normal for me when the grandchildren come over to say "make sure you give everyone a kiss and hug goodbye". I told my mom he probably wouldn't but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially when he put his hands on her face to hold her steady. I even had camera ready because we had cookout that day.
