Sometimes it's daily, sometimes it's not. Sometimes I get busy digging through old shots and decided to process something for that day.
I do enjoy being part of this community and it has certainly helped me over some of life's hurdles.
Hi all. I have had several inquires about my mom's status so here goes.
Basically my mom is holding her own right now. By that I mean no better, no worse. She is totally dependent on me for her care and I do my very best to take care of her.
She can only make a few steps when she is having a good day. Because of not being able to walk she has to wear diapers because she can not ambulate to get to the bathroom on her own. When she is awake and not to tired she does ask to have assistance to go.
It's hard for her to be such an independent person and have it come to this. She hasn't really ever had any hobbies except for reading but she doesn't really see well even with glasses now. She loves the history channel on TV so I try to make sure she gets to do something she enjoys.
I have an appoint for her to see a Neurologist in September so hopefully we can aleast get a diagnosis and now what we are dealing with.
The general physician I took her to ordered physical therapy and a nurse twice a week so hopefully she'll get stronger. I really am not sure at this point what exactly is wrong with her so I'm careful to not push her to much. It seems like she is strong enough but her brain isn't telling her body what to do. It's very sad.
My husband built a ramp for the wheel chair but I can't do it by myself as I have severe RA. I can get her down the ramp I just can't get her in the car on my own.
She is comfortable and happy to be where she doesn't have to worry about people being mean to her. She sees two of my grandsons everyday and her face is full of light and sparkle when they are here.
Her home in Florida was hit my the hurricane but not horrible so that's a blessing. She was so worried about it.
She has her puppy with her all the time and he seems to be very content to be her also.
Thanks for all the emails and prayers.
Peace, gail
P.S. Since I can't go out now I shoot from my bedroom window. There's allot of birds and once in a while I get something good.
Early atmospheric conditions.
